Two Mexican restaurants were hit by fires in the last week or so. Most frightening was the attempted arson at the San Marcos Restaurant in Wilmington, Delaware. Police found the remains of a Molotov cocktail (a bottle filled with gasoline with a rag sticking out the top) outside the restaurant. It didn't light the restaurant on fire, fortunately, but it did damage some cars nearby. Click the video below to learn more about this fire.
The other fire occurred at Joe Vera's, a Mexican restaurant in downtown Provo, Utah. That fire began in an electrical transformer in the alley behind the restaurant, and spread to the attic. The fire was extinguished before extensive damage to the restaurant itself. Click here to learn more about this fire.
