Taqueria Los Atlantes, a spin off of Madison, Wisconsin's Los Atlantes Mexican Restaurant & Bakery opened on December 20 in Verona, Wisconsin. Jonathan Falcon, son of Nancy Barrera and Felipe Falcon, owners of the first Los Atlantes Mexican Restaurant & Bakery, opened his own restaurant after working for years at the original location. The younger Falcon was so inspired by his parents' restaurant, that his new location features the same menu, including his mother's famous mole. Northampton, Pennsylvania is getting a new Mexican restaurant. Plaza Azteca, a chain of restaurants, is hoping to open its second location in the Lehigh Valley in the coming months.
