After a nine-year-long dream, Cesar Ochoa has opened Sayulita Cocina Mexicana in Milford, Michigan. The establishment sets itself apart with its vibrant lighting, tiki bar featuring swings, colorful murals, and art-themed tables. Ochoa began renovating the restaurant, formerly known as Palate, in August. The new restaurant's design is inspired by Sayulita, a quaint village on Mexico's Pacific coast where Ochoa has vacationed. He aims to offer high-quality traditional flavors, with dishes featuring marinated meats and wild-caught seafood. Guzman y Gomez (GYG) is opening a new restaurant in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, marking its fourth location in the Chicagoland area.
