Pochos, Chicago
Pochos is a brunch spot owned by Irene Acosta and Miguel Hernandez, offering a fusion of Mexican and American breakfast favorites that opened in McKinley Park, Illinois, in 2019. The owners have since found a new location for the restaurant in Chicago at 1727 W. 18th St. The menu will feature customer favorites such as chilaquiles, pancakes, and French toast, along with a few new dishes. The restaurant's interior is reminiscent of traveling to Mexico, and the owners have maintained the building's original structure while customizing a lot of woodwork and highlighting natural beauty. Hernandez and Acosta have worked in restaurants since high school and have dreamed of opening a business together. The restaurant will be open Wednesday to Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Read More
