Do you have a Mexican/Latin pizza recipe you consider an award-winner? If so, The California Milk Advisory Board’s (CMAB’s) 6th Annual Real California Pizza Contest is a great place to test your culinary creativity — and possibly win one of the cash prizes totaling $28,500 in the process!
This year’s categories are Protein, a pizza recipe that pairs one to three meats with Real California Mozzarella and other Real California Cheeses; and Produce, a plant-forward pizza recipe that uses the fresh flavors from one to three plants, fruits, nuts, beans, or legumes, creatively combined with Real California Mozzarella and other Real California Cheeses (think Hispanic cheeses like Cotija, Manchego, Asadero, and others (all on CMAB’s list of approved brands).
The contest is open to professional restaurant and pizzeria pizza chefs from anywhere in the United States and culinary students from accredited U.S.-based culinary schools; submissions are being accepted through May 17, 2024.
