The average price of a bottle of Corona in a Mexican restaurant climbed 36 cents between 2024 and 2026.
How much do Mexican restaurants charge for a bottle of Corona beer? The average national menu price for a bottle of Corona is just over $7 ($7.11, to be exact). That figure comes from an analysis in June 2026 by el Restaurante magazine that examined menus at 59 Mexican restaurants in 13 metropolitan areas, running from Boston to Los Angeles.
The el Restaurante magazine analysis revealed that the average price has jumped 36 cents in the past two years, or just over 5 percent. We did the same investigation in 2024 and found that the average price was $6.75 per bottle.
“Inflation is affecting every restaurant purchase these days, so it’s no surprise that Mexican restaurants raised beer prices a bit,” says Ed Avis, publisher of el Restaurante. “In fact, we were surprised that the increase was only 5 percent, given how expensive things have become.”
The range of prices for a bottle of Corona was more than $7. Grande Sunrise Mexican & Seafood Restaurant in Minneapolis charges just $4.50 for a Corona, while El Peseo Inn in Los Angeles charges $11.95.
Miami and Los Angeles are tied for the highest average price for a bottle of Corona in the country, $8.60. The least expensive average price of Corona shows up in Minneapolis/St. Paul, $6.10. Other cities in between include Boston at $7.70; Austin at $6.80; and Chicago at $6.50.
