The LRA Booth at the Western Foodservice Expo
The Latino Restaurant Association, a trade organization headquartered in Los Angeles, played a key role in the California Restaurant Show, held August 23–25 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
"Over three days, our team connected with restaurant owners, operators, suppliers, and industry leaders from across the state," says LRA CEO Lilly Rocha. "We left with new partnerships, stronger relationships, and a clear sense of where our members need support next."
Rocha added that the LRA's presence at the show reflected the organization's core mission: helping Latino-owned restaurants grow sustainable businesses. At the LRA booth, Lilly and other LRA representatives met with members and prospective members, introduced LRA programs and resources, and made introductions between operators and the vendors and service providers who can help them scale.
The LRA also presented two education sessions as part of the show’s program.
"These sessions focused on practical, real-world issues facing independent operators," Rocha says. "The conversations that followed showed how much value there is in bringing timely, actionable information directly to the people running our industry’s kitchens and dining rooms."
Rocha said the LRA appreciates the California Restaurant Show team for creating a platform that brings California’s foodservice community together.
"We look forward to returning to the California Restaurant Show and continuing this partnership in 2027," she said.
