Sometimes it's just good to be home! Cafe Rio, a Mexican multi-unit with nearly 150 locations, is opening its newest store in St. George, Utah, which is exactly where the brand was launched in 1997.
The grand opening celebration on Friday, July 10, will feature a signature 4-foot enchilada style burrito ribbon cutting alongside the St. George Chamber of Commerce, community members and Cafe Rio executives. The first 100 customers in line will get Cafe Rio swag bags and a free entrée.
The new restaurant will also feature a custom interior mural inspired by the natural landscape of Southern Utah, serving as a locally rooted visual centerpiece within the dining space. Created by local Utah artist Josh Scheuerman, the piece marks the 62nd mural with the brand.
