Tacoria Mexican Street Kitchen, a New Jersey-based fast casual Mexican chain launched in 2016, is expanding. The company is opening a location in Camden County this summer, its second in that county. It will be the 11th location overall for the chain.
“We got off to a great start in Marlton,” co-founder Chuck Patel said in an interview with NJ Advance Media. “Cherry Hill seemed like the next logical place to go. It’s always exciting to enter a new market and it’s been a lot of fun being down in (Philadelphia) Eagles territory.”
Tacoria is known for beautifully designed locations that re-use interesting existing buildings. The menu features a lot of standard fast-casual fare, but also innovative items such as tacos made with “golden avocadoes” (breaded, fried avocado slices) and tacos made with Brussel sprouts, as well as a dessert called Nutella Nachos.
The restaurant regularly appears on “best of” lists in New Jersey communities. The chain has four more locations in the works, according to media reports.
