On Sept. 25, La Posta de Mesilla—the historic Mexican restaurant in Mesilla, New Mexico—celebrated its 75th birthday with a gala, 1930s-themed celebration topped by the unveiling of the third barrel of Herradura Double Barrel Reposado Tequila created exclusively for La Posta.
"There's so much history here," says Tom Hutchinson who owns the restaurant along with his wife, Jerean. "When Katy Camunez Griggs founded La Posta in September of 1939, she had four tables and a dirt floor! But from that single room she built La Posta into one of the most famous restaurants in the region!"
