el Restaurante congratulates Diana Barrios Treviño of Los Barrios Family Restaurants in San Antonio, who was honored with the Rosemary Award for Excellence in Culinary Arts & Hospitality at the 2024 Women in Film & Television San Antonio Celestial Awards on November 12 at the city’s Majestic Empire Theatre. The award is named in honor of Rosemary Kowalski, the legendary caterer who served everyone from presidents to entertainers to business leaders during her almost eight decades in the industry and recently celebrated her 100th birthday.
“I received the greatest surprise when @wiftsanantonio and @cesliearmstrong honored me with the inaugural ‘Rosemary Award’ named after our dear friend and San Antonio icon, Rosemary Kowalski!” Barrios wrote in a post after receiving the award. “A huge shout out to our entire family for their support, especially my husband, Roland and our three sons! And big thanks to our dear friends, Ceslie Armstrong and Andrew Weissman @weissmanandrew and my big brother, Louie Barrios for their kind words as they presented me with the award! Forever grateful!”
