A block party to celebrate collaboration in craft beer with some of the best Mexican breweries is set to kick off this Saturday, October 12, outside Cerveceria Colorado’s taproom at1635 Platte Street in Denver’s Riverfront neighborhood.
Co-hosted by Cervecería Colorado and Denver Beer Co, this year's event will include live entertainment by Hugo’s Lucha Libre, DJ Miggy, Mariachi Quetzal, and Los Mocochetes; food from Sabor de Mi Puebla, Carnitas de Cobre, and La Reyna Del Sur; and a street market featuring local artists and artisans, and a few of Cervezas for Causes charity partners.
Beers being tapped during the event include AvoChido Pale from Baja Brewing (a pale ale brewed with avocado, cilantro, and lime); El Santo Saison from Cerveceria Cholula (a sessionable ale brewed with hoja santa y maíz cacahuacintle, the corn traditionally used to make Mexican pozole); Palenta Rosita Fruited Milkshake IPA from Intanene (inspired by the refreshing sabores of traditional Mexican paletas); and Mayan Krush Mango Cold IPA from Cerveza Cru Cru y Los Dos Potrillos (an IPA that delivers the perfect balance of sweet and spicy and finishes with a refreshing, hoppy, bite).
