Café Rio, a fast casual Mexican restaurant with 163 locations, launched a new menu lineup of bowls in March. The new bowls are accompanied by eight new ingredients.
“Our Build Your Own Bowl (BYOB) begins with a base of cilantro lime rice, black or pinto beans, made from scratch enchilada sauces, hand shredded cheese, and your selection of our signature proteins, alongside our new ingredients and toppings to create a bowl that's distinctly yours,” says the promo for the new bowls.
The eight new ingredients the restaurant launched are grilled fajita veggies, elotes, avocado corn salsa, salsa roja, roasted seasonal vegetables, chipotle ranch dressing, pollo asado and chile lime tortilla strips.
