Tamayo, Chef Richard Sandoval’s popular Mexican restaurant in downtown Denver, couldn’t host its annual Sugar Skull Sip N’ Paint™ event this year—but the Tamayo team wasn’t going to let Covid deep-six the Day of the Dead-inspired event. Instead, they created a Sugar Skull Sip N’ Paint To-Go Package that includes a three-course dinner and craft kit that lets customers “fiesta at home” while creating colorful sugar skull designs.
Each kit includes chips plus Tamayo’s signature molcajete salsa, a choice of taco entrée, tres leches bread pudding or house Margarita, one ceramic sugar skull, five paintbrushes, 12 acrylic paints, plus a sheet with design ideas and contest entry details Available add-ons include guacamole, margaritas, sangria pitchers and more. Each kit is prices at $70 and must be pre-ordered and picked up by October 28.
It’s something to consider trying to boost late October sales!
