4 c. Custom Culinary® True Foundations® Beef Birria Broth
2 servings noodles, ramen, (fresh or dried)
1 c. beef birria meat, cooked, shredded
2 egg(s), soft-boiled or poached
½ c. mushroom(s), sliced (shiitake, button, or any preferred variety)
½ c. bok choy, sliced (or spinach)
¼ c. green onions, chopped
½ small onion, thinly sliced
1 T. oil, olive, (for sautéing)
¼ c. cilantro, fresh, chopped
Lime wedges, for serving
Sriracha, or chili oil (optional, for added heat)
Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside. Prepare the Birria Broth: In a medium pot, heat the True Foundations Beef Birria Broth over medium heat until it’s hot and simmering.
In a small pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and onions and sauté for 3-5 minutes until tender. Add the bok choy or spinach and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until wilted. Remove from heat.
Place the cooked ramen noodles in serving bowls. Pour the hot True Foundations Beef Birria Broth over the noodles. Top with shredded beef birria meat, sautéed vegetables, and egg. Garnish with chopped green onions, cilantro, and lime wedges. Optionally, drizzle with sriracha or chili oil for added heat.
