The second annual Antojo Industry Expo is fast approaching, and key details are falling into place. A keynote speaker has been named, the Latino Food & Beverage Summit has confirmed, and more than 150 exhibitors have signed up.
The event will be held October 13-14 at the Long Beach Convention Center, California.
Celebrity Chef Keynote
Jenny Martinez, a celebrity chef and entrepreneur, is the keynote speaker for the Expo.
Martinez, who was born in Jalisco and moved to Los Angeles at age 4, learned to cook at her mother’s side as a teenager. She became a social media sensation by posting images of recipes of her Mexican family recipes and now has 3.5 million followers on TikTok and 250,000 YouTube subscribers.
Among her entrepreneurial endeavors is a line of cookware, MesaMia, available trough JC Penney, and a line of spice mixes.
Earlier this year her cookbook, My Mexican Mesa, Y Listo!: Beautiful Flavors, Family Style, was published by Callisto Publishing. It has been a national bestseller and was named “One of The Most Anticipated Cookbooks of 2024” by Parade magazine and “One of the Most Exciting Cookbooks of Spring 2024” by Epicurious magazine.
Martinez’s keynote address will launch the Expo at the “Bienvenidos Cafe con Pan Dulce” welcome party on October 13. This event will be held in “El Lobby,” right outside the exhibit hall.
10th Annual Latino Food & Beverage Summit
Another highlight of the Expo will be the 10th Annual Latino Food & Beverage Summit, an educational and networking event that brings together industry leaders, influencers, entrepreneurs, and passionate professionals for a day of insightful discussions, networking, and a glimpse into the future of Latino food and beverage.
The Summit will be held in El Lobby on October 14.
