Looking for a business-related excuse to visit Mexico this spring? If you feature Mexican beer in your restaurant, a visit to Beer Fest 2026, to be held on May 1 and 2 at Jardines de México in Morelos, may be worth the trip. It promises to be an experience where music, craft beer, and the landscape intertwine to become a contemporary ritual of collective celebration.
In the heart of Morelos, among flower-lined paths and themed gardens stretching across 51 hectares of contemplation, the venue—considered the world’s largest themed floral garden—transforms for two days into an open-air stage where electric guitars, sizzling grills, and glasses brimming with foam come together.
More than 50 national and international breweries will arrive with kegs, recipes, and styles ranging from light and refreshing notes to complex fermentations, designed for those who enjoy discovering nuances in every sip.
The musical line-up includes Portugal. The Man, Los Blenders, El Gran Silencio and many other established and up-and-coming groups.
For those who prefer to extend the celebration, the festival will offer a camping area, a decision that shifts the event’s pace and brings it closer to the experience of major international gatherings. There will also be official transportation, designed so that the visitor’s only concern is choosing the next beer or the next concert.
Strolling through Japanese, Italian, tropical, or cactus gardens while a live band plays and smoke rises from the grills has the feel of an unlikely postcard scene, yet it’s also a quintessentially Mexican celebration: nature, music, fire, and shared drinks. Perhaps that is why the Beer Fest has found its home in Morelos, where time seems to move more slowly and gatherings always end up lasting a little longer than planned.
