Puesto, a six-location Mexican restaurant in Southern California, is fighting hunger with horchata. The restaurant created an horchata made with Califia Farms oat milk, as they describe in this promotional email:
We're partnering with our amigos at Califia Farms on a Frozen Horchata made with their Unsweetened Oatmilk. A dollar from each horchata purchase will benefit Chefs Cycle for No Kid Hungry. Chefs Cycle engages culinary talent to complete a three day, 300 mile ride to raise funds in support of No Kid Hungry. The 2020 ride has a goal of raising $2 million, which will support more than 20 million meals.
