Cocina Sabrosa, a new trade show focusing on Latin foodservice, has been postponed until next year. The event, which was scheduled for September 28-29 in Long Beach, California, probably will be held in the same time frame in 2021, according to organizers.
Here is the text of the message from organizers:
Dear Industry,
First and foremost, I hope this message finds you, your families, and fellow work colleagues in good health.
From the date that Cocina Sabrosa Trade Expo first launched, we have received fantastic response from the Latin food and beverage industry across the board to participate in the inaugural event, however with Federal and State officials rapidly creating travel, personal and business restrictions to manage and control the spread of COVID-19 globally, we have made the very difficult decision to postpone Cocina Sabrosa Trade Expo and Marketplace that was to stage September 28 & 29, 2020 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, CA, until 2021.
This was not an easy decision but was made to ensure the health and safety of our entire Latin food and beverage community – including manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, restaurants, markets, bars, and our Cocina Sabrosa Trade Expo team. We remain committed to staging Cocina Sabrosa Trade Expo with exhibitors and attendees from all parts of the US and around the world safely in 2021. We anticipate staging the 2021 show in a similar timeframe as planned for 2020 and are now evaluating the date options available at the Long Beach Convention Center. We will share the new dates with you in the near future.
The response and excitement for the 1st annual Cocina Sabrosa Trade Expo has been fantastic. Our team takes great pride offering the Latin food and beverage industry an unparalleled marketplace experience and a trade show to call its own. We are continuing to tirelessly execute our original plan for the Expo and our team remains committed to the Latin food and beverage community to exceed your expectations with the same focused, high quality, cost-effective, and time efficient format, for the 2021 Expo.
I will continue to keep in touch with you and provide timely updates as well on all of our social media channels:
