The National Restaurant Association has announced the launch of the Restaurant & Hospitality Association Benefit Trust Health Plan, insured and serviced by UnitedHealthcare®. The National Restaurant Association and UnitedHealthcare formed a strategic alliance that offers exclusive health care solutions and pricing to member businesses – including small, midsize and large employers.

This is why the Restaurant & Hospitality Association Benefit Trust, has been specifically designed to assist our smaller members with employee retention. This innovative approach provides a competitive edge to small businesses by offering them an array of flexibly priced health benefits tailored to their needs,” said Dawn Sweeney, President and CEO of the National Restaurant Association.
The Restaurant & Hospitality Association Benefit Trust is a health benefits solution focused on small businesses with 2-99 insurance-eligible employees. This solution can offer smaller companies some of the same advantages available to larger employers. There are more than 120 plan designs for medical and specialty benefits to choose from and pricing flexibility designed to suit different business models and environments.
The Restaurant and Hospitality Association Benefit Trust complies with Affordable Care Act (ACA) requirements and simplifies administration making it ideal for smaller employers. The offering includes access to wellness programs, which have become increasingly popular; these programs typically have been available only to larger businesses as part of their health benefits.
