Los Dos Potrillos, a family-owned Mexican restaurant with six locations in suburban Denver, is adding a new location in the city itself.
“Our mission is to create exceptional value for our customers,” said Daniel Ramirez, CEO of Ramirez Hospitality Group, which owns the restaurant. “We are excited to announce our first Denver location. We look forward to becoming a welcoming haven for our growing community, offering the same quality, consistency, service and commitment that defines the Los Dos family.”
Founded by Jose Ramirez in 2002, Los Dos Potrillos began with a restaurant in Centennial. The new Denver location comes just seven months after the successful opening of their Castle Rock location, which features a 8,000-square-foot restaurant and brewery. The new restaurant, slated to open in early 2025, will be at 4100 E Mexico Ave., near the Cory-Merrill neighborhood. The location previously housed Hacienda Colorado Mexican Restaurant.
"Expanding to Denver is an important step for us, allowing us to connect and serve a new group of diners. Our Los Dos family is excited about this growth and cannot wait to bring our delicious food and overall dining experience to a new community in such a centralized location," said Luis Ramirez, COO and president.
In addition to its restaurants, Ramirez Hospitality Group offers a distinctive beer brand focusing on clean and refreshing Mexican-style lagers, crafted to complement their authentic dishes. Their services also include catering and a food truck.
