The Hispanic Restaurant Association (HRA) has partnered with EduClasses®, a premier provider of online education, to provide bilingual training for food safety and responsible vendor practices to HRA members. The comprehensive suite of training programs is part of HRA’s Learning Academy, Certified Culinary Professional curriculum and membership benefits. The online courses, available in English and Spanish, include Food Managers Certification, Food Handler Training, Seller Server Classes/Responsible Alcohol Beverage Training, Food Allergens Awareness Training, and Cannabis Handling/Responsbile Budtender Training.
According to HRA President John Jaramillo, the goal is to equip HRA members with essential knowledge and skills, ensuring that Hispanic-owned and operated restaurants continue to thrive and maintain the highest standards of safety and service.
“At HRA, our mission is to support Hispanic restaurateurs by providing them with the resources and education necessary for success,” Jaramillo said in a statement about the new program. “By teaming up with EduClasses, we are ensuring that our members have access to top-notch training that not only meets but exceeds industry standards. This collaboration is a significant step in the right direction in empowering our community to thrive in an increasingly competitive market."
