Dine Latino Restaurant Week 2025 was the largest event of this program ever, according to the Latino Restaurant Association, which runs the event.
“We had 226 Latino-owned restaurants participating across California,” says Lilly Rocha, CEO of the LRA. “From family-run taquerías to modern fusion kitchens, our participating restaurants showcased the depth and diversity of Latino cuisine.”
The Restaurant Week kicked off with an event at the legendary El Cholo in Los Angeles. The evening brought together restaurant owners, community leaders, elected officials, and media to celebrate the resilience and brilliance of Latino culinary entrepreneurs, Rocha says.
An important feature of this year’s event was an interactive Google map that helped diners across California find new spots and old favorites to visit. The event also was highlighted with social media posts that saw thousands of views and engagements.
“Our digital presence was really on fire,” Rocha says. “That helped amplify the stories of our member restaurants and drove thousands of customers there.”
Dine Latino Restaurant Week was sponsored by SoCalGas, Grubhub, DoorDash, Uber, Port of Long Beach, Square, LFIA, the Mexican Consulate, and the City of Los Angeles.
