- ¼ of a 3.0 oz Del Mayab Bistek brick
- 2 lbs of Boneless Beef Round Steak
- 1/3 cup of Lemon Juice
- 1 White Onion (diced)
- 2 Yellow Chilies (sliced)
- 1 Small Bell Pepper (any color, sliced)
- 1 Small Tomato (diced)
- 3 Medium Potatoes (quartered)
- 1 Cup of Water
- 1 Tbsp of Salt
- Cooking Oil
In a medium bowl, dissolve the Del Mayab Bistek in the water, lemon juice and salt. Cut the steak into strips. In a medium pot add the Bistek marinade and the steak strips. Add the potatoes, onion, chilies, bell pepper and tomato into the pot as well. Add 2 Tbsp of cooking oil on top of the mixture in the pot. Cover and cook on low for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once it is done cooking, serve and enjoy!
