The Texas Restaurant Association has warned its members that the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) will be conducting back-to-school undercover operations in August and September to identify retailers, bars, and restaurants selling alcohol to patrons under age 21.
Businesses selling to underage patrons risk possible criminal charges.
The TRA notes that in the past year, the TABC held more than 2,000 stings at bars and restaurants, resulting in 424 violations.
