¡Latin Food Fest! celebrates its sixth annual Hispanic culinary celebration August 17-18 at Marina Park at San Diego Bay. With over 10,000 attendees, ¡Latin Food Fest! is San Diego’s largest food festival, which includes “Chefs Night Out,” a high energy party hosted by chef Tati Polo, and “Gran Tasting San Diego,” featuring food, beverage, wine, beer, and spirits stations, cooking and wine demonstrations, Chef Awards by Chef Works, Toyota VIP Tent, and a four-hour music performance by La Junta Sound System on the Don Julio Music Stage, and Sol e Mar also performing.
Gran Tasting San Diego also includes the most comprehensive tasting of Latin spirits in California, which includes Agave Liquor, Bacanora, Cachaca, Fernet, Mezcal, Pisco, Pulque, Raicilla, Popo, Rum, Sotol, and Tequila. Wines from Argentina, Chile, Napa, Portugal, and Spain with be poured and paired with a variety of Hispanic cuisine.
Beer includes Tona Cerveza from Nicaragua, Estrella Damm from Spain, Bohemia from Mexico, local Latin favorite SouthNorte Beer Co, and a Michelada contest.
