Chef Aaron Sanchez creates empanada recipe for Hellmann’s Centennial
Chef Aaron Sanchez is adding a Hispanic twist to Hellman’s 100th birthday party, which is being celebrated today with the World’s Longest Picnic Table at Hudson River Park’s Pier 84.
To commemorate this event, Sanchez has created a recipe for chorizo and potato empanadas, which will be featured on www.vivemejor.com throughout Hispanic Heritage Month. A pdf of the recipe in Spanish is available by clicking here.
"My family depends on Hellmann's to create our favorite recipes," says Sanchez. "I love that this celebration falls during Hispanic Heritage Month, as Hellmann's has been a staple ingredient in many of the delicious dishes we have enjoyed at our tables for generations."
The table, set to break a Guiness World Record, stretches 320 feet.
