The Latino Food Trade Show, branded as the World of the Latino Cuisine, will present its 6th edition with exhibits, culinary demonstrations by celebrity chefs, and informative workshops/educational sessions from Sept. 24-25 in the Meadowlands Expo Center in New Jersey. A Grand Reception on the evening of September 24th will include great tastings.
This food and beverage show features the participation of the largest food and beverage distributors active in the Latino market in the United States, as well as mainstream marketers, domestic producers, and international exhibitors from the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Peru, Dominican Republic, Panama, Spain, and other countries.
It also includes the participation of domestic and foreign buyers.
"The Latino market continues to growth. It has a purchasing power of close to $2 trillion dollars,” explained Bill Colón, lead officer of the World of the Latino Cuisine, the show’s organizer. "Our food and beverage expenditures are close to $200 billion dollars and growing, so it behooves all savvy marketers to participate in the show and take full advantage of their exposure."
The show includes both the retail and food service sections of the industry. It is attended by hundreds of restaurant owners, foodservice managers, and buyers.
A special feature of the show is the participation of culinary students, assisting the celebrity chefs during the “showcooking”/culinary extravaganza portion of the event. All students receive scholarships during the show.
