CHCI and Tyson Foods Announce Chicago Foods Scholar Intern Program
WASHINGTON, DC – The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, in partnership with Tyson Foods, Inc., is currently seeking applicants for its unique scholar-intern program. The CHCI-Tyson Foods Scholar Intern program is designed to offer qualifying Latino students a dynamic real-world work experience in a corporate environment, while providing monetary compensation and scholarship funds to help students with the financial burdens of postsecondary education.
In its third year, the program will recruit two candidates to be the recipients of a $2,500 scholarship along with a thirteen-week paid internship at Tyson Foods’ office in Chicago. Based on the selected students’ majors and preferences, students will work in accounting, marketing, or information systems. The program is open to both undergraduates and graduate students, including students pursuing an MBA.
