LA's best and most buzzed about taco festival, the 4th Annual LA Taco Festival (http://www.latacofestival.com),will team up with Jovenes, Inc. for Summer's biggest bash on Saturday, August 16th at LA's Mariachi Plaza. Bringing together the tastiest taco vendors that Los Angeles has to offer, the festival will feature musicians and professional artists, community based organizations, food vendors, businesses and more, with all proceeds going toward ending youth homelessness in LA.
The 2014 Taco Festival will be featuring Pinches Tacos, Candela Taco Bar, Yeya's, Zingo Tacos al Carbon, Taco Party, Mi Ranchito, Tacos la Mexicana, Balbinas Tacos, and more! Held in the heart of Boyle Heights, the festival will bring together various community stakeholders; youth musicians and professional artists, community based organizations, food vendors, businesses and Angelinos of all kinds. They are planning the 4th Annual LA Taco Festival to be even bigger and more successful than last year's event by showcasing more artistic talents and by bringing in the tastiest taco vendors that Boyle Heights and East LA has to offer!
The festival will be presented by Jovenes, Inc., a non-profit organization in Boyle Heights that provides housing and supportive services to homeless youth. All proceeds from the event will go toward ending youth homelessness in Los Angeles. Jovenes is a place of personal transformation for homeless youth, and their mission is to help homeless youth and at-risk families become productive and integrated members of the community. They give youth a chance to create a path to personal growth and success. They provide stable housing and other community-based services that create opportunities for them to lead productive lives.
