Sonoran Hot Dogs
Tucson restaurateur Daniel Contreras, recently given a James Beard Classics Award, is making his famous Sonoran hot dogs for Chicago residents at a pop-up restaurant on May 5 and 7. (Click here to read an interview with Contreras.) Contreras, who owns El Guero Canelo, will be in Chicago to accept his award during that time. The hot dogs will be given away free from a stand in the French Market at 131 N. Clinton from 11 a.m. until they run out.
